RUSH: "If they get the House .. whatever Trump wants to do is going to stop. It is going to be paralyzed. It is going to be nothing but in every House committee that is relevant .. inspections, investigations, subpoenas. They are going to go back and try to get Kavanaugh thrown out.

It’s going to be nothing but two years of get even with Trump for having the audacity to win. And the business of the nation is going to be brought to a screeching halt. In the meantime, they are going to try to get rid of the tax cuts."

Tucker Carlson called out Andrew Gillum's radical, anti-police policies and his long-time support from radical billionaires George Soros, and Tom Steyer.

During the segment, Tucker addressed Andrew Gillum's own statements calling for abolishing the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency, impeaching President Trump, and his long-time support for the organization Dream Defenders, who believe that police and prisons have no place in justice. Andrew Gillum signed a pledge to support their anti-police policies, including promising to divest money away from law enforcement.

Central Florida Sheriffs Endorse Ron DeSantis for Governor,

Criticize Gillum's Pledge to Cut Police Funding

Central Florida Sheriffs endorsed Ron DeSantis for Governor. The Sheriffs cited Ron DeSantis' unwavering commitment to standing with law enforcement during his time in the military, as a federal prosecutor, and in Congress

The Sheriffs rebuked Andrew Gillum's failed record of public safety in Tallahassee and his support for the anti-police organization, the Dream Defenders. Andrew Gillum signed the group's "Freedom Pledge" promising to fight for a Florida that divests from police and prisons, and promising to support their manifesto which states that police and prisons have no place in our justice system.

In Israel, deadly terror attacks are increasing. “This is an impossible situation”

"Someone or other in Gaza seems to want to get a war on. This morning in Beersheba, Israel, a mother saved her three children’s lives by hurrying to their shelter as a Palestinian rocket fired from Gaza blew up their bedrooms. Rocket attacks on Beersheba — home to more than 200,000 people — are rare and considered a major escalation."

“RAW FOOTAGE: Terrorists in #Gaza attempting to shoot more
rockets into #Israel until we stopped them. Watch until the end.

How did Hamas get hold of the advanced Tornado-G Grad missiles aimed at Beersheba and Greater Tel Aviv early Wednesday, Oct. 17? They were most likely smuggled into the Gaza Strip through Sinai and supplied by Iran or fellow terrorist groups in eastern Libya.

These improved Grad types are serious deadly weapons, carrying boosted warheads containing 70-80 kilos of explosives to a distance of 40-60km. They are copies of the high-explosive fragmentation of HE-FRAG  warheads, and made their first appearance in Palestinian terrorist hand in Gaza on Wednesday. Serious casualties and more extensive damage were only avoided by good luck when one of the missiles wrecked a home in Beersheba and the second landed in the sea.

Nancy Pelosi Says Amnesty, Gun Control Among Top Priorities if Democrats Win

Speaker of the House?

Pelosi details her plans for House majority

The Democratic leader is hitting the campaign trail before a midterm that could add dozens of female lawmakers to Democratic ranks. Pelosi’s return to the top of a Democratic-majority leadership was anything but assured several months ago, with potential challengers lurking and unrest in Democratic ranks over what some said was a need for new and younger leadership. But as Democrats appear positioned to take back the House, Pelosi has solidified her support among her caucus and has begun mapping out their priorities with her colleagues.

UPDATED: In January 2019, three liberal justices are leaving the Florida Supreme Court. Our next governor will pick the replacements.

Florida's next governor and not incumbent Gov. Rick Scott will get to pick three new justices to the state Supreme Court, the court ruled Monday in a decision with major implications in this year's gubernatorial campaign.

The court's one-page ruling Monday says "the governor who is elected in the November 2018 general election has the sole authority to fill the vacancies" triggered by those mandatory retirements.

The ruling came in a lawsuit filed by the Florida branch of the League of Women Voters and Common Cause.

"It's A Wonderful Life" .. because what we do matters more than we know.

(Excerpt)

Imagine Hillary Clinton winning in 2016, by the landslide that her media predicted. Like in the Christmas movie, It’s a Wonderful Life, how would life in America be different if Donald Trump never existed, at least in terms of the 2016 presidential election?

  • James Comey would be running the FBI. Or perhaps he would move to CIA or DNI, with Andrew McCabe running the FBI. Sally Yates would be Attorney General, a reward for loyal service rigging the election. Other names in the news today would remain in obscurity -- Peter Strozk, Lisa Page, Bruce and Nellie Ohr. All would be promoted and rewarded.
  • Gun rights and free speech would be in peril.
  • Iran would be full speed ahead on nuke production.
  • ISIS would be alive and well, taking over the Middle East.
  • The Paris Climate Accords would be in effect, as would a carbon tax.
  • Taxes would still be high, especially the corporate income tax. Factories would continue moving abroad. The unemployment rate would we significantly higher than the GDP
  • Black and Hispanic unemployment would still be sky high, blamed on the Republican-controlled Congress, used as a campaign issue to vote in Pelosi and Schumer as majority leaders
  • ObamaCare would remain in full force. Its shortcomings would be blamed on fat-cat business owners, not the failed legislation and regulations. Bernie Sanders Medicare-for-all would be the legislative priority of the Clinton administration.
  • The IRS, under commissioner Lois Lerner, would leak confidential tax return information to influence the behavior of anyone standing in the way of the Clinton administration.

I could go on, but it’s clear that the most important election was two years ago. That being said, the election in a few weeks is the second most important election as it is the difference between continuing the Trump agenda versus jamming on the brakes. Now is not the time for complacency, only the time to vote.

On The Ballot: IMPEACHMENT

.

"While Democrats are largely ducking the topic on the campaign trail, few in Washington doubt that impeachment will be on the table if they win the House on Nov. 6."

COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa — President Trump was energized. Fresh from the fight to confirm Brett Kavanaugh, he was firing up thousands of supporters at a rally by complaining about how Democrats had treated his nominee and how they may yet try to remove Justice Kavanaugh from the bench. “They’re saying, ‘We’ll impeach him" Impeach him for what? For what?” The crowd booed.

“Besides that,” Mr. Trump then added slyly, “I have to go first, right?” The crowd laughed. But after almost two years of living under the cloud of a possible impeachment, it may soon cease to be a laughing matter.

While Democrats are largely ducking the topic on the campaign trail, few in Washington doubt that impeachment will be on the table if they win the House on Nov. 6. If that happens, anyone who thought the battle over Justice Kavanaugh’s confirmation was ugly and divisive should buckle up, because history suggests it would provide only a small taste of what lies ahead.
