Prosperity is blooming in the Sunshine State

"With job growth projected to outpace the entire nation, things are going exceedingly well for Florida."

First, the state ended the unemployment bonus last May, months ahead of schedule. Shortly after, unemployment costs in the state dropped 86%. Since then, the state has regained 92.1% of the jobs it initially lost in the early days of the pandemic.

Nationwide, 1 out of 5 workers require the government's permission to do his or her job.

Licensing laws vary across states and even across localities. They are often duplicative and sometimes even directly conflict with each other. To solve this issue, Florida now prohibits localities from adding additional licensing requirements, allowing entrepreneurs to put that "open for business" sign up in the window sooner rather than later.

Job training programs are not always work-centric. They are often inefficient, forcing job seekers to fill out redundant paperwork and creating administrative problems. Florida is working to ensure job training programs aren’t wasting taxpayer dollars and creating more bureaucracy.

To make sure the programs are working, the state will be tracking transitions out of welfare programs based on metrics such as participant completion, job attainment, and wages.

All of these commonsense solutions passed by the legislature will serve Floridians by getting the government out of the way of economic growth, removing barriers to work, and encouraging more Floridians to start businesses in the state. MORE

President Trump says it plainly: "We’ll be doing it again a third time."

All Trump-Endorsed Candidates Win Texas Primaries on Tuesday.

In a statement to the former president on Wednesday (3/2/2022) Texas Lieutenant Gov. Dan Patrick (R) announced that Trump went 12-0 in his Texas primary endorsements.

“I am proud to tell you that every candidate I asked you to endorse won or is solidly in first place going into a runoff. You were 12-0 with your Texas endorsements last night from my list of recommendations,” said Patrick.

“Your key endorsement of strong conservative candidates, who believe in the MAGA policies, who worked hard every day for months was a winning combination over their opponents.” MORE

“We protected people’s rights, we protected people’s jobs, and made sure every kid in the state of Florida had an opportunity to go to school in person. Freedom has prevailed in the Sunshine State ... Had Florida not led the way, this country could look like Canada or Australia. We sometimes take freedom for granted, you should not do that after the last two years.”

“They’ve made all of our Founding Fathers out to be evil racists. They weren’t.”

While the Republicans look to be in pretty good shape to take back the House of Representatives in November 2022, the situation in the Senate is much tighter.  There are two schools of thought in the US Senate on how to approach the 2022 election. Mitch McConnell wants to run against Joe Biden. (link)

Rick Scott is breaking with McConnell to nationalize the senatorial campaigns, as Newt Gingrich nationalized the House races in 1994. (link)

Rick Scott and his staff are trying to win big and have the guts to put what they are about on paper as his “11 Points Plan to Rescue America.” (more)

  1. Our kids will say the pledge of allegiance, salute the Flag, learn that America is a great country, and choose the school that best fits them.

  2. Government will never again ask American citizens to disclose their race, ethnicity, or skin color on any government forms.

  3. The soft-on-crime days of coddling criminal behavior will end. We will re-fund and respect the police because they, not the criminals, are the good guys.

  4. We will secure our border, finish building the wall, and name it after President Donald Trump.

  5. We will grow America’s economy, starve Washington’s economy, and stop Socialism.

  6. We will eliminate all federal programs that can be done locally, and enact term limits for federal bureaucrats and Congress.

  7. We will protect the integrity of American Democracy and stop left-wing efforts to rig elections.

  8. We will protect, defend, and promote the American Family at all costs.

  9. Men are men, women are women, and unborn babies are babies. We believe in science.

Top Florida GOP operative (and RECVC member) Maryann Pistilli to manage 'Laura Loomer For Congress'

Read

In her campaign for the US Congress, Laura Loomer (R), who is running in Florida's 11th District against incumbent Rep. Daniel Webster has seen many milestones achieved, but none like this. The Loomer campaign has secured top Florida GOP operative Maryann Pistilli as its new campaign manager.

Maryann Pistelli with President Donald TrumpMaryann Pistilli with President Donald Trump, Orlando 12-12-2021

Prior to joining the Loomer campaign, Pistilli served as the State Director for voter registration for the Republican Party of Florida, as well as being the Deputy State Director of Field Operations for the RPOF/Victory during the 2020 presidential election.

From 2016-2022, Pistilli has worked for RPOF/Victory throughout many election cycles. Florida has recently officially flipped in registered voters from Democrat to Republican, a crucial swing in data considering that Florida is often considered a "purple" state. Republicans now have a growing voter registration advantage over Democrats in Florida, and Pistilli is being credited for her contribution to that effort.

She is also known to have years' worth of experience in grassroots organizing going as far back as the Tea Party movement in 2009. For the Loomer campaign, Pistilli is a highly respected Florida political operative at the highest levels, a renowned grassroots coordinator, making her a popular and prized addition to Laura Loomer’s Congressional campaign..

“We’re not complaining about it anymore ... Republicans are taking over elections nationwide."

Former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon gave a dire warning to Democrats about the upcoming midterm elections in November.

"We’re taking action, and that action is we’re taking over school boards .. we’re taking over the Republican Party through the precinct committee strategy .. we’re taking over all the elections.

Bannon spoke directly about the 2020 presidential election; “We’re not complaining about it anymore. Remember, no whining and no tears in the War Room."  More

The “Precinct Strategy” is enlisting America First Patriots to their local County Republican Party committees, positions which are too often left vacant.

If members of our Great movement start getting involved (that means YOU becoming a precinct committeeman/woman for your voting precinct), we can take back our great Country from the ground up.

The Precinct Strategy, as explained by Dan Schultz at www.PrecinctStrategy.com, is a great way to restore our Republic by transforming our Party from currently at less than half-strength at the precinct level into a full-strength, Get Out The Vote powerhouse—as it should be.

You can represent your community on the Republican Executive Committee as a precinct committeeman or precinct committeewoman. There are no membership dues and the only requirements are the following:

* You must be a registered Republican (for the last 12 months)

* You must be registered at the precinct you wish to represent

* You must complete and sign two different forms: A State Loyalty Oath that is filed with the Supervisor of Elections and a Party Loyalty Oath that is filed with the Republican Party of Florida.

The Republican Executive Committee of Volusia County meets on the second Tuesday of each month.

*New member orientation from 5:00-6pm

"For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind."

Democratic Rep. Jim Cooper of Tennessee, who recently announced he would not seek reelection to Congress this fall, warns that the party is facing extinction in small-town America. “It’s hard to sink lower than we are right now. You’re almost automatically a pariah in rural areas if you have a D after your name.”

SMETHPORT, Pa. (AP) — Some Democrats in rural Pennsylvania are afraid to tell you they’re Democrats.

The party’s brand is so toxic in the small towns 100 miles northeast of Pittsburgh that some liberals have removed bumper stickers and yard signs and refuse to acknowledge publicly their party affiliation.

“The hatred for Democrats is just unbelievable,” said Tim Holohan, an accountant based in rural McKean County who recently encouraged his daughter to get rid of a pro-Joe Biden bumper sticker. “I feel like we’re on the run.” The climate across rural Pennsylvania is symptomatic of a larger political problem threatening the Democrat Party heading into the November elections.

Even if Democrats continue to eke out victories by piling up urban and suburban votes, former Sen. Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota fears her party will have “unstable majorities.” She said Democrats are hurting themselves by not speaking out more forcefully against far-left positions that alienate rural voters.

“Rush Limbaugh, thank you for your decades of tireless devotion to our country.”

Rush Limbaugh died a year ago today, on February 17, 2021. It seems a fitting occasion to remember, in good humor, philosophic levity, and political gravity some of the highlights of his remarkable American life.

 Read More

Rush was serious about politics, and what enabled him to be as serious as he should be, was his understanding that there were things more important than politics.

Good politics established the conditions for higher things: for freedom of thought, freedom of religion, the flourishing of art, music, literature; the happiness of husbands and wives and fathers and mothers and children in families; the joy of sports of all kinds and of watching sports with friends and rooting for one’s team. Rush’s seriousness, good humor, and joy were direct products of his understanding and appreciation of the freedom to pursue happiness that good politics makes possible.

This is precisely why every pious liberal is miserable and spreads his liberal misery wherever he goes: because for the pious liberal there is nothing beyond politics. Everything is about power and is reducible to power. As the world has seen with shocking clarity these past two years, the pious liberal will not rest until he controls your every thought, word, and deed.

As Rush said on the air frequently, he wasn’t concerned about what happened to the Republican Party or even to conservatives. He was concerned with what was happening to the country. His conservatism was defending the freedom, interests, and sovereignty of the American people, and he saw that the greatest challenge to doing this was the liberal identity politics of what was once called political correctness and came to be called 'wokeness'.

“What is it that sets us apart? There is one answer, and it is found in the Declaration of Independence. We are all endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights. Because of this, America became the greatest nation in human history.”

“We are in a battle for the kind of country this is going to be. We’re not in a battle over who is going to win every four years. The battle we are in is literally about will this remain the United States of America as founded.”
