May 2017 marked the transformation.
More Republicans had registered to vote in Volusia Co. than Democrats ... for the first time since Reconstruction, maybe ever. It was no accident. It was the right leadership. We Remember -
MARCH 11, 1947 – FEBRUARY 13, 2019
On Wednesday, February 10, 2021, the House Criminal Justice Committee heard and PASSED HB-259
HB-259 is a bill to restore the private property rights of religious institutions.
Rep Webster Barnaby stood up vocally for Volusia County and for America today when he voted YES on the vote for firearms at churches. The Bill, HB #259, will allow licensed holders to carry on church property just like on other private property , unless a specific church prohibits it. The law as it reads today says if you have a school on the church property, firearms are prohibited; and that would include Saturdays and Sundays when school isn’t even in session.
Barnaby rose in support of this bill and self identified himself as a minister of the gospel and a proud member of the NRA. He felt it important to recognize that our right to keep and bear arms, as the Constitution says, “SHALL NOT be infringed”.
HB #259 will now head to the next committee.
Rep Elizabeth Fetterhoff, also from Volusia County, is on the same committee and also voted YES.

DeSantis .."It's a political attack"
Yesterday it was widely reported the JoeBama administration was considering federal intervention to restrict travel into and out-of Florida. Essentially a travel ban.
Florida Governor DeSantis discussed the position of his state during a segment of a COVID update press conference from Port Charlotte, Florida.
“Restricting the right of Americans to travel freely throughout our country while allowing illegal aliens to pour across the southern border unmolested would be a ridiculous but very damaging farce.”

Rep. Michael Waltz: The GOP's future is found in Florida
Not only did Florida deliver an astounding one million more votes for President Trump than he won in 2016, but the GOP also picked up two additional Congressional seats and expanded long held majorities in the state legislature.
The next few months will be a test as we navigate through an unprecedented time: an impeachment trial of a former president, dozens of radical executive orders from a Biden administration with little mandate and an increasingly hostile media.
But rest assured, the playbook has been set. Just follow Florida’s guide.

"Thank you for helping me put Americans first"
When I became Governor of Florida, one of my top priorities was to sign a bill banning sanctuary cities — and I did it. I was also the first Florida Governor to sign E-Verify legislation to ensure a legal workforce, reduce incentives for illegal immigration and put Floridians and Americans first.
Joe Biden and his globalist friends are trying to undermine the fabric of the United States by enacting a massive amnesty for tens of millions of illegal immigrants. The mere talk of amnesty has invited more illegal immigration, with a massive caravan careening towards the southern border as we speak.
If Joe Biden and his leftist handlers have their way, every city in America would be a sanctuary city for drugs, murderers, child traffickers, and illegal immigrants that routinely break the law.

I am the #1 enemy of Silicon Valley because I won’t let the Big Tech cartel walk all over conservatives without punching back twice as hard.
I am not some weak RINO Republican that will give in to their pressure. No group of people should have this kind of power, especially not tech billionaires in California. Thank you for helping the fight against the Big Tech cartel.

These tech overlords should not be allowed to “referee” Americans’ ability to share opinions and engage their rights to free speech.

and their elections interfered with.”

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and the Republican-controlled state legislature are working together to condemn Big Tech companies such as Facebook, Twitter, Amazon, Google, and Apple for their power abuses including censorship, de-platforming, and election interference.
The state’s Republican leaders plan to propose legislation that, if passed, seeks to protect Floridians’ privacy rights and penalize Silicon Valley giants for taking actions against political opponents and citizens through shadow-banning, algorithm manipulation, and capitalizing on anti-conservative bias.
“Big Tech has long since abdicated the protection of consumers for the pursuit of profit,” DeSantis said in a press conference at the Florida state Capitol on Tuesday.

Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) said in a statement Monday the Democrats’ $1.9 trillion coronavirus proposal amounts to nothing more than payback to liberal states that helped Democrats during the recent elections.
Scott, chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), said Democrats say the state and local aid would serve as a “payback” for their friends who aided their campaigns during the 2020 elections:
"The Democrats have made it blatantly obvious that this isn’t about helping people – it’s a payback to their friends for helping with their campaigns. Less than two weeks into the Biden Administration and Democrats have already completely abandoned their inauthentic calls for ‘unity’ and ‘bipartisanship’ just to push through massive spending and get tax dollars to their buddies. You can’t make this stuff up. These wasteful states just have their hand out to the federal government in hopes that American taxpayers will plug the long-standing holes in their budgets and pension systems created by decades of mismanagement and the poor decisions of failed politicians."
“That’s not fair to Floridians and all the states around the country that have been working hard to protect taxpayer dollars,” he added. “We can’t let it happen.”

Tim Tebow gave his personal take on abortion during the annual March for Life Rally.
Tebow told a story about how his mother, who was then a missionary in the Philippines, was advised to have an abortion while she was pregnant with Tebow. He said medical experts believed either Tebow or his mother would not make it.
“‘Out of all my years, this is the greatest miracle that I’ve ever seen because I have no idea how he survived,'” Tebow said the doctor explained. “‘The placenta is not even attached and there’s so many different issues. This is a miracle baby. Here is your baby, Mrs. Tebow.'”
Tebow said if his mother had not trusted God and chose not to give the pregnancy a chance, he would not be alive today.

Since the China Virus pandemic began, the media has endlessly tried to portray Gov. Ron DeSantis as the most villainous governor in the country.
"Meanwhile, Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) has received multiple awards for his handling of the coronavirus in his state, even though by every measure, New York is doing far worse than Florida.
This week, however, two things happened that should make the media pause their attacks against Florida and DeSantis. They won’t pause, but they should."

"Conservatives aren’t supposed to fight. We are supposed to go gently into that dark night of leftist hegemony and just hope our Norman Rockwell prints aren’t confiscated and cancelled.
When William F. Buckley annunciated movement conservatism, he said things like “Nominate the most electable conservative” and “Stand athwart history yelling stop!” These were incredibly defensive positions. Unlike Buckley, Trump does not simply assume we are losing and trying to slow it down. He wants to win.
Biden’s cavalcade of leftist wish list executive orders shows exactly where we are. Democrats don’t desire a détente, they desire domination. Over you, over your kids, over your community.
Trump invited the American people to fight back. Now it is our responsibility to save the country."

"The D.C. Swamp showed their disdain for our troops last week, forcing the brave men and women of our National Guard to sleep in a parking garage.
.
After Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats took photos with these patriots and used them as political props, some 5,000 troops were promptly cast aside to take their rest in an unheated facility with only one bathroom. These folks are soldiers who have served our country - they aren’t Nancy Pelosi’s servants.
That’s why I ordered them to come home from this half-cocked mission.

The men and women of our National Guard have helped the state of Florida recover from natural disasters, and they are currently on the frontlines of helping vaccinate our senior citizens. After all they’ve done in the name of service to our state and country, these soldiers don’t deserve to be treated like this."
Keep fighting.
For Florida and America,
Governor Ron DeSantis

“This is no small thing ..
.. to restore a republic after it has fallen into corruption. I have studied history for years and I cannot recall it ever happening. It may be that our task is impossible. Yet, if we do not try then how will we know it can’t be done? And if we do not try, it most certainly won’t be done. The Founders’ Republic, and the larger war for western civilization, will be lost.”
“But I tell you this: We will not go gently into that bloody collectivist good night. Indeed, we will make with our defiance such a sound as ALL history from that day forward will be forced to note, even if they despise us in the writing of it.”

. “Thousands of National Guardsmen were forced to vacate congressional grounds on Thursday and have been photographed having to sleep in parking garages while temperatures in the nation’s capital were set to dip down to near-freezing temperatures”
Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Friday morning announced that he has ordered back home Florida National Guard troops sent to Washington, D.C., to secure the inauguration of President Joe Biden, which took place on Wednesday. DeSantis called the “mission” in D.C. “half-cocked” and blasted House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) for treating troops like her “servants.”
A stunning 25,000 troops from across the nation were ordered to D.C. to secure the inauguration of Biden. As noted by The Daily Wire, disturbing photographs circulated Thursday evening revealed our National Guard troops sleeping in cold parking garages. The photos of the living conditions that the National Guardsmen were forced to endure come after Democrats took complete control of the federal government.
"Joe Biden is already relying on his communications department (the liberal news media) and the Radical Left to punish conservatives across the country for supporting our pro-America agenda.
The national media is busy attempting to attack me for refusing to close schools, shut down our businesses and lock people down in the state of Florida as we speak - but I promise you, I will hold the line.
|
|
Unlike New York and California, where crime and unemployment continue to skyrocket as a result of oppressive government lockdowns, here in Florida we’ve kept our state open for business.
The Radical Left - including President Biden - want to close our businesses, open our borders, let Silicon Valley shadow ban opinions they disagree with, and ultimately control our lives.
|
|
It seems the only way we can stop this upcoming administration from taking away our God-given rights that we enjoy here in this country is by making our voices heard and joining together."
