The gap between Republicans and Democrats in Volusia County is now more than 7,000 and growing, as the GOP’s ground game and the demographics of who’s moving to the Daytona Beach area are contributing factors to a reddening county. Less than three years ago, Republicans passed Democrats in the number of registered voters in Volusia County.
[READ MORE: For first time, Volusia GOPs outnumber Dems]
That remarkable reversal in Volusia — a Democrat-leaning county for over a century — over those years explains at least some of the statewide trend. In Volusia at the start of this month, the number of registered Republicans had gained 20,000 voters since this time in 2016. The county’s Democrats had picked up fewer than 2,000 voters.
The number of registered Flagler County Republicans is up nearly 31% since this time four years ago, a News-Journal analysis shows. Flagler’s Democratic Party grew by 9.9% in the same time frame. Flagler County has long been a Republican stronghold.
Why are Republicans so much more appealing to Volusia and Flagler voters than Democrats in recent years?
“It’s a combination,” said Paul Deering, the Volusia County Republican Party chairman. “We’re actively recruiting new voters and welcoming voters from other parties that are disenchanted with some of their elected officials and the positions they have taken. ... It’s like Ronald Reagan said: They didn’t really leave the party but the party left them.”

This is what NeverTrumpers, the entirety of the left wing, and the Democrat Media Complex still do not fully comprehend -
.. the flawless, slick, well dressed, well polite presidential candidates of the past who repeatedly let us down (like Romney, who...oops, did it again) and saw compromise versus commitment to conservatism as the only way to govern didn't work for the average American anymore. They alienated vast swaths of our broad middle class and allowed the left-wing fifth column to march into our homes, schools, houses of worship, and workplaces and destroy our families and our futures and trample our civil rights.
The intolerance and hate, of which we are daily accused, oozes from the pores of most left-wingers. They call us the most loathsome of names and marginalize us. They try to destroy our president, accuse him of treason, impeach and remove him, tear this country in half for three years, ridicule his supporters ... and we are told to make nice.
The Romney republican is dead and any GOP who wants that brand back is a total

The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) releases the January jobs and labor report - 225,000 jobs gained in January; non-supervisory wage growth against exceeds supervisory at 3.2%; and 185,000 workers re-entered the workforce.
The 225,000 new jobs far exceeded expectations. Economists were looking for 160,000.
Also the November report was revised up by 5,000 and the change for December was revised up by 2,000. With these revisions, employment gains in November and December combined were 7,000 higher than previously reported.
These excellent jobs results are without the domestic investment expected to be produced by the USMCA manufacturing realignment. As goods producing companies start evaluating the new total production costs, the investment shift toward North America will likely keep a tailwind on our economic growth.

President Trump’s moving, statesmanlike State of the Union address
.
He closed with a stirring homage to the American spirit:
As the world bears witness tonight, America is a land of heroes. This is the place where greatness is born, where destinies are forged, and where legends come to life. This is the home of Thomas Edison and Teddy Roosevelt, of many great Generals, including Washington, Pershing, Patton, and MacArthur. This is the home of Abraham Lincoln, Frederick Douglass, Amelia Earhart, Harriet Tubman, the Wright Brothers, Neil Armstrong, and so many more. This is the country where children learn names like Wyatt Earp, Davy Crockett, and Annie Oakley. This is the place where the pilgrims landed at Plymouth and where Texas patriots made their last stand at the Alamo.
The American Nation was carved out of the vast frontier by the toughest, strongest, fiercest, and most determined men and women ever to walk the face of the Earth. Our ancestors braved the unknown; tamed the wilderness; settled the Wild West; lifted millions from poverty, disease, and hunger; vanquished tyranny and fascism; ushered the world to new heights of science and medicine; laid down the railroads, dug out canals, raised up the skyscrapers — and, ladies and gentlemen, our ancestors built the most exceptional Republic ever to exist in all of human history. And we are making it greater than ever before!
This is our glorious and magnificent inheritance. We are Americans. We are the pioneers. We are the pathfinders. We settled the new world, we built the modern world, and we changed history forever by embracing the eternal truth that everyone is made equal by the hand of Almighty God.
America is the place where anything can happen! America is the place where anyone can rise. And here, on this land, on this soil, on this continent, the most incredible dreams come true!
This Nation is our canvas, and this country is our masterpiece. We look at tomorrow and see unlimited frontiers just waiting to be explored. Our brightest discoveries are not yet known. Our most thrilling stories are not yet told. Our grandest journeys are not yet made. The American Age, the American Epic, the American Adventure, has only just begun!
Our spirit is still young; the sun is still rising; God’s grace is still shining; and my fellow Americans, the best is yet to come.
Thank you. God Bless You. God Bless America.

Democrats and fake news media are flooding the airwaves with their lie that Trump's acquittal will be illegitimate because Senate Republicans unfairly refused to call witnesses and present documents. They say, "How can you have a trial without witnesses?" They want average-Joe-American to wrongly conclude that no witnesses were called during the impeachment trial.
For laughs, I turned on CNN. They pretended the mountain of documents presented and the 17 witnesses Democrats called in the House hearings did not happen. I thought, "Oh, my gosh — it is all fake news." This is really scary, folks. These wicked people are fully committed to deceiving and discouraging us 24/7 with lies.
.
It is truly remarkable that Trump has survived every Democrat and fake news media evil tactic to destroy him and his presidency. I call it "The Trump Phenomenon." No other Republican would have survived. Clearly, God's hand of protection is on this man, whom He has prepared for such a time as this.
We must remain diligent spreading the truth .. because mainstream media is all fake news.

Impeachment will backfire because the D.C. Leviathan still does not understand why Donald Trump was elected.
Giant administrative agencies now tower over our lives, even if they reside in D.C. They conjure power for themselves out of thin air, but their application of power is very real. They choose whom to tax, what land to seize, whose gods must be respected, and whose faith must be destroyed.
Administrative agencies force American citizens to bend to the wills of faceless swamp things, and nobody in D.C. sees this as the direct assault on Madisonian republicanism that it is.
We have watched the federal government grow and transform into something we hate and fear. There were no constitutional conventions or amendments for these changes; rather, the federal courts took it upon themselves to reinterpret the Constitution with the silent consent of Congress and successive presidents until they had effectively co-opted power originally guaranteed to the individual states or the American people themselves.
The country elected Mr. Trump, in part, because he promised to be a giant club willing to bash the D.C. hull repeatedly until it sinks into the Potomac River basin.

Many of us stayed up that night in June 2016 to watch the Brexit referendum vote returns from polling stations across the U.K…. The establishment shock was incredible when they realized the majority of U.K. citizens voted to leave the European union.
The European shock was only second to a similar American establishment reaction five months later when Donald Trump won the November 2016 presidential election.

Israel may as of next week annex the Jordan Valley and all 150 Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria, i.e. 30% of the West Bank, while the Palestinians would have four years to win an independent state and a capital in East Jerusalem.
That is the substance of President Donald Trump’s vision for an Israel-Palestinian peace as he presented it at the White House on Tuesday, Jan. 28, alongside PM Binyamin Netanyahu, in a striking historic event – even for the critics of its content.
The prime minister stated “I agree to negotiate with the Palestinians on the basis of your plan,” because, he said, unlike all previous peace initiatives, this one strikes a “realistic balance” between Israel’s security needs with recognition of Biblical sites as the bedrock of our Jewish heritage, while also understanding and addressing Palestinian aspirations. All previous plans required Israel’s withdrawal from the Jordan Valley, its vital eastern frontier.

"On my first trip overseas as President, I visited the Holy Land of Israel. I was deeply moved and amazed by what this small country had achieved in the face of overwhelming odds and never-ending threats. The State of Israel comprises only a miniscule amount of land in the Middle East and yet it has become a thriving center of democracy, innovation, culture, and commerce.
Israel is a light unto the world. The hearts and history of our people are woven together. The Land of Israel is an ancient home, a sacred place of worship, and a solemn promise to the Jewish people that we will never again repeat history’s darkest hour. (Applause.)
During my trip to Israel, I also met with Palestinian President Abbas in Bethlehem. I was saddened by the fate of the Palestinian people. They deserve a far better life. They deserve the chance to achieve their extraordinary potential. Palestinians have been trapped in a cycle of terrorism, poverty, and violence, exploited by those seeking to use them as pawns to advance terrorism and extremism.
I returned from my visit determined to find a constructive path — and it’s got to be a very powerful path forward in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. To further this effort, I also met with President Abbas at the White House. Forging peace between Israelis and Palestinians may be the most difficult challenge of all. All prior administrations, from President Lyndon Johnson, have tried and bitterly failed. But I was not elected to do small things or shy away from big problems."
