The Tide Turns Toward Trump

Remember how Donald Trump was totally doomed just a couple weeks ago? All the smart people of smartness who make up liberal blue check Twitter tweeted it so it had to be true. The polls, we were informed, indicate Trump’s doom.

Now, am I contending that the polls are consciously manipulated by media outlets and others to artificially depress Trump’s popularity in order to demoralize conservatives and keep them from voting since it is a lost cause? Yes. The media lies about things right in front of us – “peaceful protestors” anyone? – so what’s stopping them from lying about things that are already opaque like poll results?

Beside polls, nothing foretells a Democrat win. Nothing. There is no datapoint that helps them. Trump voters are willing to crawl over broken glass to vote for The Donald; savvy Dems are looking for broken glass to slash their wrists because they know their addled nominee is a senile old weirdo on an express train to McGovernville.

There’s also the nuts and bolts of the campaign. It’s out-registering the Dems, knocking on millions of doors while the Dems are cowering from the flu. And, vitally, minorities are refusing to simply line up and vote Democrat – many are walking away and moving to Trump.

President Trump spoke by phone with Fox Business host Lou Dobbs. During the call Trump said that the investigation in to the Obama administration spying on his campaign has found “breathtaking” details that go “beyond what anybody ever thought even possible, how bad it is.”

“We caught President Obama and Biden spying on the campaign. Biden was even saying using the Logan Act, which is exactly what they used on Flynn, they used the Logan Act and they had it down in writing at a White House meeting where President Obama and Vice President were there, Biden suggested the Logan Act,” said President Trump.

“I caught them and we caught them spying, using the intelligence apparatus of our country to spy on an opponent’s or the opposing party’s campaign, both before and after the election,” he said.

“It’s a horrible thing that took place,” said Trump, “and it should never be allowed to happen to another president.”

President Trump on Monday signed an executive order banning federal agencies – with particular attention on the technology sector – from firing U.S. citizens or green card holders only to replace them with foreigners.

The order, which the White House is calling the Executive Order on Hiring American, challenges federal contractors’ use of H-1B visas to bring in temporary foreign labor for high-skilled jobs rather than relying on American workers

"This Executive Order follows his Buy American, Hire American Executive Order from April 2017 and takes further action to prevent Americans from being displaced by foreign workers," the White House said in a statement released Monday. "Under President Trump’s leadership, the firing of hardworking Americans in the pursuit of cheap foreign labor will not be tolerated." 

Trump's action was in part to prevent the outsourcing of jobs at the Tennessee Valley Authority, the federally owned corporation created by congressional charter in 1933 to provide electricity, economic development and other essentially services to the region. 

At the White House signing ceremony Monday, Trump POTUS says he’s pushing for the removal of authority CEO Jeff Lyash and called on its board to make Lyash "does not receive a lavish compensation package upon his departure too.”

”He gets $8 million a year so that was just a succession of deep swamp things happening and it's a disgrace,” Trump said. “So let this serve as a warning to any federally appointed board. If you betray American workers, then you will hear two simple words .. You're fired."

Nadler Attacks (again) - Democrats try to ruin AG Barr .. but it's they who are ruined.

Attorney General Barr recently testified in a contentious hearing before the House Judiciary Commitee.  Some are saying that this was a dreadful affair, in which the Democrat majority members delivered lying biased diatribes, viciously attacked AG Barr personally, refused to permit Barr to respond to their questions, and generally showed themselves to be cheap political hacks.  But this cannot be true.  Surely the distinguished Democrat ladies and gentlemen of the Committee would never stoop to gutter behavior which would demean both the Committee and the magnificent institution that is Congress.

For, if they had participated in such a series of outrages, they would have proven beyond doubt that they really are the vile, disgusting, repulsive, uncouth, anti-American, left wing excuses for humanity that so many people say they are.

Is anybody watching the hearings who does not see what fascistic bullies the Democrats are. They have no interest in getting answers to their accusatory questions, and have no restraint in abusing the Attorney General of the U.S. Scumbags to a man and woman.

Attorney General Barr to the Nadler Committee - Ever since I made it clear that I was going to do everything I could to get to the bottom of the grave abuses involved in the bogus "Russiagate" scandal, many of the Democrats on this Committee have attempted to discredit me by conjuring up a narrative that I am simply the President's factotum who disposes of criminal cases according to his instructions. Judging from the letter inviting me to this hearing, that appears to be your agenda today.

Unfortunately, some have chosen to respond to George Floyd's death in a far less productive way - by demonizing the police, promoting slogans like ACAB (All Cops Are Bastards), and making grossly irresponsible proposals to defund the police. The demonization of police is not only unfair and inconsistent with the principle that all people should be treated as individuals, but gravely injurious to our inner city communities.

There is no harder job in America today than being a police officer. When officers respond to an emergency, whether a catastrophe like 9/11 or an everyday crime, they do not set out to protect white people or black people. They risk and sometimes give their lives to protect and serve all people, and all people owe them thanks.

When a community turns on and pillories its own police, officers naturally become more risk averse and crime rates soar. Unfortunately, we are seeing that now in many of our major cities. This is a critical problem that exists apart from disagreements on other issues. The threat to black lives posed by crime on the streets is massively greater than any threat posed by police misconduct.

The leading cause of death for young black males is homicide. Every year approximately 7,500 black Americans are victims of homicide, and the vast majority of them – around 90 percent – are killed by other blacks, mainly by gunfire. Each of those lives matter.

And it is not just that crime snuffs out lives. Crime snuffs out opportunity. Children cannot thrive in playgrounds and schools dominated by gangs and drug pushers. Businesses do not locate in unsafe neighborhoods. 

When the police are attacked, when they are defunded, when they are driven out of urban communities, it is black lives that will suffer most from their absence.
