Sandra Hogue, Hogue Ministries, Inc.

Sandra Hogue is a resident of Ormond Beach and is a wife, mom, foster care advocate, and president of Hogue Ministries, Inc. She and her husband, Stephen, parented 20 children over the years and adopted ten children, who range from 5-18 years old. They tell all about their journey in a book that will be released this fall, called We said YES. Hogue Ministries, Inc., their non profit organization, has the mission to change foster care by bridging the gap between child welfare and the church community. They work closely with our local child welfare agency to recruit and train churches, who will in turn support foster families through babysitting, respite care, housekeeping, mentoring, transportation and other tangible support that is proven to help the retention rate of foster families. Sandra desires to see that our community works together to ensure that there are no more waiting children, only waiting families.
