Every Floridian Should help me in calling for Rick Scott to resign his US Senate Seat.
    Please read below.
Rick Scott you should be ashamed of yourself! The State of Florida’s unemployment payment amounts, number of week that you can get benefits and the computer system to make unemployment claims is a crime! The system is not easily set up for a Floridian to be able log into the system to make a claim and once you finally get your claim filed weeks after you’ve become unemployed you cannot log in to claim your weeks. This was done on your watch purposely because you do not want Floridians to be able to make unemployment claims.
You’ve bragged about how hard you want it to be and made it be for an unemployed Floridian to file for unemployment through the system your administration set up while you were the Governor.
SHAME on YOU! With the current pandemic this is a crime. You should not be involve in Florida politics and you should resign. You should leave Floridain alone. You don’t have the working Floridian best interest at heart, only BIG BUSINESS and BIG MONEY are you ONLY INTEREST!.
Resign and stay away from Florida and leave Floridians alone for the rest of your days. You’ve done enough damage to the cripple working Floridian to last 100 lifetimes.
I am calling for you to resign! I hope other Floridian will call you out as well.

“When Republican Rick Scott became its governor in 2011, Florida already had one of the stingiest unemployment-insurance systems in the country. As the Great Recession rained pink slips down on the Sunshine State, its laid-off workers received no more than $275 a week in unemployment benefits — a cap that had been set a dozen years earlier and never adjusted for inflation.

But Florida’s system wasn’t just tightfisted; it was also underfunded. Early in Scott’s tenure, the reserves available to pay out unemployment claims ran out. So the tea-partyer faced a choice: He could either raise taxes on businesses to maintain the program or slash benefits for workers amid high unemployment to maintain low taxes on businesses.

He chose the latter. Unemployed Floridians used to receive up to 26 weeks in benefits; Scott cut that to 12 (though the cap does rise gradually after the state’s unemployment rate exceeds 5 percent). He established a new rule requiring the program’s beneficiaries to meet with at least five prospective employers a week to retain their benefits; eliminated the options of applying for benefits over the phone or in person, forcing all laid-off Floridians to sign up through (a poorly designed, underfunded) website; and he made it easier for employers to “prove” that their laid-off workers had been fired for cause and thus did not qualify for benefits — a change employers eagerly sought as their unemployment-insurance tax rates are partly tied to how many of their former workers qualify for aid. Meanwhile, Scott retained the state’s exceptionally low weekly benefit cap, and an eligibility formula that excludes part-time and seasonal workers, even as a supermajority of U.S. states updated their formulas to include such laborers."

    Hi Senator Scott,
There are few things I would like more than to attend the upcoming rally. Unfortunately, at this time I do not think I will be able to attend the event in Sunrise, but I would like you to know that I will be there in spirit, and I hope to catch up with one of these hoe-down experiences at a future event. In the meantime, I have something for you and President Trump’s re-election campaign I have written and recorded a song specifically for your election campaign. The song (Drain The Swamp) should provide the impetus to propel our Commander-In -Chief over the top to victory in 2020. If this song is blasted through the sound system at the rally, the crowd is sure to respond with a feverish level of excitement unmatched in the history of political rallies. I can send this song in an attachment and/or mail a cd to you. I am including the lyric with this letter. If you hear the song I am certain you will be as excited as I am. Thank you, Senator Scott, take care, and keep on draining the swamp.

(Crank the pump and drain the swamp)
They say the Russians caused disruption.
(Crank the pump and drain the swamp)
Well, we’ve a deep state and it’s worse than Watergate,
(Crank the pump and drain the swamp)
Without doubt it must be cleaned out.
(Crank the pump and drain the swamp)
Each and every culprit should be locked up.
(Crank the pump and drain the swamp)

The election had an outcome the opposition cannot bear.
Federal cops pulled out the stops to take our POTUS out of there,
And this should make us all beware.

    We hear collusion; Russian intrusion.
(Crank the pump and drain the swamp)
We know it’s a hoax; and that’s no joke.
(Crank the pump and drain the swamp)
The other side spied and lied.
Crank the pump and drain the swamp)
They were sure she’d win till the votes came in.
(Crank the pump and drain the swamp)

    They say Trump’s rotten,
Yet he’s not forgotten common folks like you and me.
They can’t defeat him, so they say impeach him,
    Claiming there’s conspiracy.
But we know which ones are guilty.

This land of plenty has thrived on the many
Whose sweat and blood built this great U.S.A.
And yet the deep state tried to invalidate
What we the people had to say,
When we cast our votes that day.

    Dear Senator Scott):
My name is Larry Semerad and I have written and recorded a song ([Crank The Pump And] Drain The Swamp) which should be of very much interest to you. I believe it should supply the impetus to propel our esteemed president over the top to victory in the 2020 election. I have submitted the song to various Republican Headquarters with very positive feedback. I would like to send a copy to you. Would you like for me to send the song in an e:mail attachment (MP3 file) or a cee-dee (through the U.S. Postal system)? I am including the lyric (below) with this correspondence.
Thank you, Senator, take care, stay out of the swamp, and above all, keep on keeping -on living the healthy life. Larry Semerad e:mail: HandmanL@aol.com Phone number: (850) 830-4608
