It's the work of 100's of thousands of citizen volunteers who are active, who insist that our elected leaders work for US and for our families.
The Florida House passed HB1297 (Effective Date: 10/1/2023) a bill that allows for the death penalty for rapists of children under the age of 12 without jury unanimity, by a 95-14 vote.
When Governor DeSantis signs this Florida bill into law, it may not have Christina Meridith's name at the top, but it does have her story and it will bring her and thousands of others the justice they deserve. A former homeless foster youth and a victim of child rape, she currently serves in the US Army and continues to dedicate herself to protecting children from abuse and advocating for foster care reform. The Florida House on Wednesday 4/19, approved a measure that would make it a felony to provide hormone therapy and puberty blockers to minors. (Orwellian named 'gender-affirming care' )
.TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida Legislature passed a bill to ban sex reassignment surgeries and medications for minors.
The House voted 83-28 and the Senate voted 26-13 on Thursday May 4, sending the bill to Gov. Ron DeSantis for his signature.
“This is not science. This is a cult that is focused on the abuse of children,” Bill sponsor Rep. Randy Fine said on the House floor.
The House voted 82-31 to pass the bill (SB 254), which would largely put into law rules approved by the state Board of Medicine and the Board of Osteopathic Medicine. (More)

Rep. Randy Fine, R-Palm Bay, sponsor of the House’s version of the measure said:
“We have failed to give them (children) the ultimate gender-affirming care, to affirm they are creatures of God made in his image. That they were made the way they are and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.”
