For the upcoming 2022 election, Representative Tom Leek is running for re-election in the newly formed House District 28. The new district will include all of Ormond Beach, Holly Hill, Daytona Beach, South Daytona and most of Daytona Beach Shores. Dr. Fred Lowry, candidate for School Board District 5, is a Deltona pastor, former teacher and Principal, who currently serves District 5 on the Volusia County Council. He is endorsed by Governor Ron DeSantis. Fred is a strong conservative who will serve the children faithfully and treat their parents with respect. He is the only Republican running in this race and has full RECVC support.
Matt Reinhart is the former warden of the Volusia County jail and has decades of experience in law enforcement and government administration. Matt Reinhart is the only Republican running for Volusia County Council District 2 and has the full support of the RECVC.
