President Trump is focused on midterm elections and how to strengthen the Republican Party
President Trump At Iowa Rally
"We’re Going To Take America Back"
.
Quotes from President Trump at the Iowa Rally:
-
On the border crisis: “We are becoming a dumping ground for very serious criminals. Biden is supposed to be protecting our country from foreign invasion. He said, “Come on in.” Biden is paying contractors millions of dollars to NOT complete the wall. Is that incompetence or just bad ideology? And it wasn’t a whip by the way.”
-
On the Republican party: “We will always stand with law enforcement.”
-
On the corrupt 2020 election: “They rigged the election and now, based on the rigged election, they’re destroying our country. Remember, this is not about me being robbed of an election. This is about the American people having their country taken away from them. 23,344 mail-in ballots came from people who no longer lived at that address. No chain of custody for 1.9 million votes. 2,500 duplicated ballots without missing serial numbers. Thousands and thousands of adjudicated blank mail-in ballots, ballots without signatures, and ballots from people who moved out of state. Files were deleted during the election in violation of federal law including a purge of the election management system. They used Covid in order to cheat.”
-
On Arizona and the AZ Attorney General: “Arizona was, in my opinion, the least corrupt of the swing states. It’s now in the hands of the AZ Attorney General and let’s hope that he does the right thing for the country.”
-
On Georgia: “There were 43,000 absentee ballot votes counted in DeKalb County Georgia that violated the chain of custody rules. There were many other infractions in Georgia, but Secretary of State Raffensberger and Brian Kemp hurt the country very badly, he’s afraid of Stacy Abrams. He refuses to take on the corrupt Democrats in the state of Georgia. I know it’s fraught with danger but you have to do it for this country.”
-
On the Giant Illegal Ballot Harvesting Operation: “A new investigation alleges a gigantic illegal ballot harvesting operation involving large numbers of people in the state of Georgia and many other places.”
-
On Stacey Abrams: “They do whatever she says, pretty amazing. I’d like to run against Stacey Abrams.”
-
On Pennsylvania: “Hopefully the people of Pennsylvania are angry. This (voter fraud) cannot be allowed to happen and will not allow the Republican majority to be reelected if they don’t get to the bottom of the trash. Thousands of voters reported receiving at least two ballots in the mail without requesting them. Thousands were complaining they were not allowed to vote becuase, they were told, they already voted. Some walked out crying. There has never been anything like this that has happened in our country before.”
-
On Philadelphia: “The US Attorney of Philadelphia said, ‘In writing, I was told not to do anything, not to pursue it (the election fraud)’.”
-
On Bellwether States: “In Michigan the legislature found that over 300,000 voters were listed even though they hadn’t voted in over 20 years. I won 18 out of 19 bellwether states. No other president has ever done that.”

What follows is adapted from three interviews of President Donald Trump for Mollie Hemingway’s latest book “Rigged: How The Media, Big Tech, and the Democrats Seized Our Elections,” out October 12.
"I was curious about how he viewed his legacy, but he wasn’t interested in talking about anything more than two years out .. focused on midterm elections and how to strengthen the Republican Party."
We discussed what went well in the 2020 campaign and what didn’t, along with his view that he’d done what was necessary to win in a free and fair fight. “It hurts to lose less than to win and have it taken away,” he said. When talking about the 2020 election, Trump liked to talk about fraud, but the truth of what happened was so much worse.
In early February, political reporter and Nancy Pelosi biographer Molly Ball published a Time magazine article detailing how, as she put it, “a well-funded cabal of powerful people", ranging across industries and ideologies, working together behind the scenes to influence perceptions, change rules and laws, steer media coverage and control the flow of information” had rigged the election to secure a Biden victory.
While she was whitewashing what the cabal had done – asserting unconvincingly that it wasn’t rigging but “fortifying” — she revealed that these powerful elites, funded by Facebook billionaire Mark Zuckerberg, had been able to embed left-wing activists into election offices to assist Democrats with their get-out-the-vote efforts and the Democrats’ push for mail-in balloting.
My book explains, among other things, how Zuckerberg spent hundreds of millions of dollars targeting Democrat counties in ways that significantly drove up Biden’s margin, enabling his victory. The funds weren’t for campaign spending, mind you, but for a targeted private takeover of the government administration of election operations.
Trump knew also that the global pandemic had helped Democrats take over the administration of elections, “Well, they used COVID to rig the election." he said. Trump understood the big picture problems with the 2020 election better than many of his critics. He knew that many of the changes that had been forced through states in 2020 were unconstitutional.
“The constitution of the United States says you cannot change any of your rules, regulations, or anything else, unless you go through the state legislatures,” he said, referring to Article II, Section 1, Clause 2 of the U.S. Constitution, which leaves the power to the state legislature to make the election laws."

Gov. DeSantis Will Defend Floridians from Biden Regime's Abuse of Power
The National Education Association, the American Federation of Teachers (and others) have combined forces with the federal government to oppress, threaten and intimidate parents in an attempt to stop them from exercising their rights, as secured by the Constitution.

So who raises children - Parents or the government?
Biden's Attorney General, Merrick Garland, has instructed the FBI to mobilize against parents who oppose critical race theory in public schools, citing "threats." The letter follows the National School Board Association's request to classify protests as "domestic terrorism." READ MORE
From liberalism’s perverse perspective, the warping of children comes not from an obscene pop culture or a rotten public school system, but from the pesky control of parents. That’s why the Biden administration is treating concerned mothers and fathers as if they’re enemies of the state. The Orwellian memo from Attorney General Merrick Garland in defense of public school boards stems from the view that public schools should have to right to miseducate children with impunity, free of any parental oversight. "Attorney General Garland is weaponizing the DOJ by using the FBI to pursue concerned parents and silence them through intimidation. Florida will defend the free speech rights of its citizens and will not allow federal agents to squelch dissent." Read More
"Disagreement is not harassment. Protest is not terrorism, unless it involves rioting, looting, and assault, like some of the left-wing protests of summer 2020. Again, all of those actions are crimes in Florida and will be prosecuted, regardless of political context." Read More

Gov. DeSantis Takes Action to Protect Floridians from Biden's Border Crisis
Since Joe Biden took office the Border Patrol has released nearly a quarter million illegal aliens into the U.S. In July alone the number of illegal aliens who were apprehended and released by the Border Patrol was a staggering 60,607. By contrast, in the last full month of the Trump Administration, only 17 in this category were released.
Governor Ron DeSantis was joined by Attorney General Ashley Moody to outline three major steps being taken to protect Floridians from the open-border chaos that has been created by the Biden administration.
- First, Governor DeSantis issued Executive Order 21-223 to prohibit all Florida agencies under the purview of the Governor from facilitating illegal immigration into Florida, unless otherwise required by federal or state law, and require the collection of information from state officials on the scope and costs of illegal immigration in Florida.
- Second, Governor DeSantis announced the appointment of Larry Keefe, former U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Florida, as Florida’s Public Safety Czar to ensure the actions directed by the executive order are carried out.
- Third, Governor DeSantis and Attorney General Moody announced that Florida has filed suit against the Biden Administration, challenging the legality of its “catch and release” policy.
Governor DeSantis said: "This executive order makes it clear that Florida resources will not be used to prop up the failed open border agenda enacted by this administration."
Attorney General Ashley Moody said: “The Biden Administration’s brazen disregard for federal immigration law is jeopardizing the safety and security of our state and nation, all while costing Florida taxpayers. Biden’s lax border policy is an open invitation to dangerous criminals, human traffickers and drug traffickers to enter the United States—creating a crisis at the Southern Border like we have never seen.” MORE

Ron DeSantis is America’s awesome ‘shadow president’
In the Westminster parliamentary system of government, used in Britain and elsewhere, the opposition forms a shadow cabinet: A group of senior opposition-party members takes responsibility for issues facing various government departments. So there might be a shadow defense minister, who focuses on military issues, and the group might put together a “shadow budget.”
None of these activities has any direct impact on the actual Cabinet; the shadow government has no executive power. But it does provide a contrast to the ruling government. It also cultivates people with some expertise, ready to take over the various offices when political power shifts.
America doesn’t use this system, but in a very real way we nonetheless have a shadow president in DeSantis.
Unlike a British shadow government, DeSantis has real executive power of his own — not in the federal government, but in his capacity as governor of America’s third most populous state. And he has been doing an excellent job of drawing contrasts between his way and the approach taken by the Biden-Harris administration.
Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) will no doubt try hard to take DeSantis down. But the more attention they focus on him, the more he will stand as a shadow president, showing Americans what someone else might do in Biden’s place.
