Nadler Attacks (again) - Democrats try to ruin AG Barr .. but it's they who are ruined.

.

Attorney General Barr recently testified in a contentious hearing before the House Judiciary Commitee.  Some are saying that this was a dreadful affair, in which the Democrat majority members delivered lying biased diatribes, viciously attacked AG Barr personally, refused to permit Barr to respond to their questions, and generally showed themselves to be cheap political hacks.  But this cannot be true.  Surely the distinguished Democrat ladies and gentlemen of the Committee would never stoop to gutter behavior which would demean both the Committee and the magnificent institution that is Congress.
.
For, if they had participated in such a series of outrages, they would have proven beyond doubt that they really are the vile, disgusting, repulsive, uncouth, anti-American, left wing excuses for humanity that so many people say they are.

Is anybody watching the hearings who does not see what fascistic bullies the Democrats are. They have no interest in getting answers to their accusatory questions, and have no restraint in abusing the Attorney General of the U.S. Scumbags to a man and woman.
.
.
Attorney General Barr to the Nadler Committee - Ever since I made it clear that I was going to do everything I could to get to the bottom of the grave abuses involved in the bogus "Russiagate" scandal, many of the Democrats on this Committee have attempted to discredit me by conjuring up a narrative that I am simply the President's factotum who disposes of criminal cases according to his instructions. Judging from the letter inviting me to this hearing, that appears to be your agenda today.

Unfortunately, some have chosen to respond to George Floyd's death in a far less productive way - by demonizing the police, promoting slogans like ACAB (All Cops Are Bastards), and making grossly irresponsible proposals to defund the police. The demonization of police is not only unfair and inconsistent with the principle that all people should be treated as individuals, but gravely injurious to our inner city communities.

There is no harder job in America today than being a police officer. When officers respond to an emergency, whether a catastrophe like 9/11 or an everyday crime, they do not set out to protect white people or black people. They risk and sometimes give their lives to protect and serve all people, and all people owe them thanks.

When a community turns on and pillories its own police, officers naturally become more risk averse and crime rates soar. Unfortunately, we are seeing that now in many of our major cities. This is a critical problem that exists apart from disagreements on other issues. The threat to black lives posed by crime on the streets is massively greater than any threat posed by police misconduct.

The leading cause of death for young black males is homicide. Every year approximately 7,500 black Americans are victims of homicide, and the vast majority of them – around 90 percent – are killed by other blacks, mainly by gunfire. Each of those lives matter.

And it is not just that crime snuffs out lives. Crime snuffs out opportunity. Children cannot thrive in playgrounds and schools dominated by gangs and drug pushers. Businesses do not locate in unsafe neighborhoods.

When the police are attacked, when they are defunded, when they are driven out of urban communities, it is black lives that will suffer most from their absence.

New internal polling? Democrats & their fake news flunkies suddenly notice the riots.

Dem ‘narrative is shifting right in front of our eyes’

.
.
 Byron York@ByronYork

Voices on left concerned about rioters in Portland. No longer arguing it's 'peaceful,' worried about backfiring.

Democrat political operative Lanny Davis unwittingly makes it clear that some internal polling might have been sent around showing what average Americans think about what they’ve been seeing for the past couple months:
 Lanny Davis@LannyDavis
Violent protesters lighting fires and using violence in Portland should wear @realDonaldTrump buttons. That is who they are helping.Progressives in Portland need to call them out, including the Mayor. ReTweet please. Don’t allow violent people help @realDonaldTrump
Morning Joe has been relentlessly insisting they were 'peaceful protests' .. until he got the new memo -
 Joe Scarborough@JoeNBC
How does breaking windows at a courthouse, setting fire to a federal building, firing guns in crowds, and committing acts of vandalism forward any cause? Actually, don’t bother because there is no good answer. It is self-destructive to any cause you promote.
Legal Insurrection calls out Hypocrisy Joe for his new awareness of the violence -

 Legal Insurrection@LegInsurrection
They are MSNBC’s core audience, fed lunatic paranoid conspiracy theories by you and others for four years. Now the hate you helped create is out of control, and you are panicking, worried it will help @realDonaldTrump. It will.
Democrats lit the match. Now they are getting burned.

"Proving America is completely the opposite of the evil racist country they relentlessly accuse her of being, progressives used America’s goodness, guilt and sense of fair play against her. In their quest to destroy America as we know it, progressives borrowed a brilliant scheme from Greek mythology. They offered America a modern day Trojan Horse, a beautifully crafted golden shiny new black man as a presidential candidate. Democrat Joe Biden lorded Obama as the first clean and articulate African American candidate. Democrat Harry Reid said Obama only uses a black dialect when he wants.

White America relished the opportunity to vote for a black man naively believing they would never suffer the pain of being called racist again. Black Americans viewed casting their vote for Obama as the ultimate Affirmative Action for America’s sins of the past. Then there were the entitlement loser voters who said, “I’m votin’ for the black dude who promises to take from those rich SOBs and give to me”.

Just as the deceived Trojans dragged the beautifully crafted Trojan Horse into Troy as a symbol of their victory, deceived Americans embraced the progressive’s young, handsome, articulate and so called moderate black presidential candidate as a symbol of their liberation from accusation of being a racist nation. Also like the Trojan Horse, Obama was filled with the enemy hiding inside."

Lawsuit seeks review before Confederate Memorial in St. Augustine is removed

“The city certainly has the authority to move it if they choose to, but this is not in my opinion and the opinion of the plaintiffs — this is not a Jim Crow Civil War memorial.

This was done by widows and orphans,” said Daytona Beach attorney George Burden, who prepared the lawsuit.

Specifically, descendants of men listed on the memorial are asking for the court to keep the city from relocating the memorial until the city’s Historic Architectural Review Board looks into the removal process, according to a press release. The lawsuit claims that Mayor Tracy Upchurch persuaded the St. Augustine City Commission to by-pass the legally required review by the Historic Architectural Review Board,” according to the release.

The press release about the lawsuit came from Vic Baker, a Volusia Co. Republican state committeeman who hosts “Trump Talk Now,” a weekly internet broadcast that is supportive of the president.
